The Three Stripes have been on a roll lately thanks to the resurgence of terrace-style footwear. From Sambas to City Series, the kids can't get enough of these classic slim silhouettes that have normally been reserved for middle-aged English men reliving their youth. Next up on the blocks is the Guam.
Released in the early '80s,Guam wasessentially a re-badging of the adidas Milano. This practice of renaming shoes was common for adidas, especially when creating shoes for specific markets. Most commonly seen in Japan, the Guam seems to have been a model aimed at one of adidas' most dedicated markets.
Mostly seen in brightly coloured suede, the leather version was a scarcevariation of an already rare shoe. Seen here faithfully replicated, the leather uppers sit atop the slimline midsole and the distinct chevron-treaded outsole.
